Supermicro's AOC-NXB-10GCX4 is a 10GbE, low profile PCI Express card with a native CX4 copper interface based on NetXen's NX2031. It is a high performance layer 2 NIC that can support offload of TCP/IP, iSCSI and RDMA protocols, significantly improving throughput of servers, server appliances and storage platforms, while reducing host CPU utilization. This allows overall system performance to scale dramatically. The AOC-NXB-10GCX4 is a highly integrated, fully programmable Intelligent NIC device designed to offload and accelerate processing tasks.
